Little Fish Photography was established in 2006 by me, Naomi Annett .
I am a wife ( to a perfectionist painter & decorator), mother (to a amazing 16 year old girl and a furry baby), daughter (to a very tolerant mum and very much missed dad), sister (to some damn lucky siblings), aunty (to some quick growing nieces & nephews) & friend (to some pretty amazing people far & wide who I don't see often enough).
I have no sentimental story about getting my first camera as a child, and knowing it was my passion...... in fact I dont think I ever picked up a camera until I went to University and even then it was only because I had to as part of my studies in Graphic design. Once I had though, yep I loved it. Photography bought me to the local newspaper in Hamilton, a beautiful town where I have now lived for over 20 years. Newspaper photography wasnt for me, so I ventured elsewhere in the work world in my new adopted hometown.
After years in the workforce and beginning a family I decided that staying home with my child was high on my list of priorities...as was making some money. I needed to get my creative juices flowing again & thought it time to put my Degree to use. So thats what happened and there became Little Fish Photography. Although I do love graphic design, photography has become my passion and I now soley concentrate on it.
My photography style offers a fresh approach, capturing your very intimate and special occasions. From babies and family gatherings to the most joyous of celebrations – your wedding day, I will create an array of images for you that will keep the memories alive forever. I aim to capture the important moments in a relaxed fun way with a creative style all of my own.
I am a very relaxed and patient person (so I have been told) and want you to feel comfortable in my studio or on location, where ever our adventure takes us. In 2022 I closed my home studio (thanks Covid), went back to a 'real' job and now solely concentrate on Family location sessions and maybe a couple of weddings, if I can be convinced that is
